Good News: Nestle Departing Plant in Northern California

Sometimes it pays to be a bit of a pain for corporations, as are some of us, along with the Sierra Club and Corporate Accountability International. Some high school students in our area are selling metal bottles to their colleagues, to make a difference.

After a 6 year campaign, Nestle is departing from the McCloud mill town in the Cascade Mountains of Northern California.

Corporate Accountability International’s campaign, Think Outside the Bottle, has educated millions about the dangers of corporate control of water, especially in poor areas of the world, where dams and water projects displace thousands of persons.
