First Week of the Tom Ruhl Memorial Book Drive

In honor of our dear Marylhurst colleague Tom Ruhl, who passed away in July, the Marylhurst Service Program is coordinating the Tom Ruhl Memorial Book Drive from Saturday September 24th – Sunday October 16th. You can participate by donating new or gently used children’s books (K – 6th grade levels); the drive will benefit Marylhurst’s student teaching placement site schools:
Oak Grove Elementary School  (North Clackamas School District)
Lent Elementary School  (Portland Public Schools)
Boones Ferry Primary School  (West Linn-Wilsonville School District)
Cherry Park Elementary  (David Douglas School District)
For more information click here https://marylhurstserviceprogram.wordpress.com/575-2/. You can participate by putting books in the bright red and yellow boxes that you’ll see around campus, or virtually (through a Wish List set up at Amazon.com). Pam Leibrant, the  Service Program Coordinator, can answer any questions you might have (service@marylhurst.edu).
