Clackamas Women’s Services fosters self-empowerment of survivors of domestic and sexual violence to move toward lives free of abuse through the provision of crisis and referral services, emergency shelter, transitional services, and community and business education and outreach, thereby reducing the generational recurrence of domestic and sexual violence in our community.
Direct Service Volunteer Opportunities: Anyone wanting to volunteer in direct services to women and children is required to complete our Volunteer Training. The training covers Clackamas Women’s Services’ philosophy and approach to working with women and children who are surviving domestic and sexual violence. Volunteer training sessions are offered several times throughout the year. Each session encompasses approximately 36-40 hours of reading, training and lectures spread out over several evenings and weekend dates.
